Drawing on the ancient Maori tradition, a Manaia Mask is a mask containing the Mana, i.e. the Power and the charisma of an individual. This is my personal interpretation.

Creating new realities, far from the "human" ones: the masked man as Man/Spirit, Man/Animal and Man/God. Masks as the Transfigurative Power of the Individual.



Definitely, masks as a way to create new relationships. Masks as the need to be a part of all the Forces that move our world. What do you think about it?

He's Back! Guess Who's Back?

Buonasera a tutti! Goodevening folks!
Now I am in Ferrara...I am a lucky guest at Franco and Katia's wonderful house.They are real friends and I love'em all!
I am hanging out with my IUPUI friends Nyasha, Megan and Jasmin...and with my Bologna friends Adriano, Silvia, Luca and Isabella...and tomorrow with the supa-cool duo Davide and Chiara...and naturally, thanks to Facebook and Skype with my I-Hauz brother and sisters.
First of all, I would like to thank all my friends for the positive feedback about my paintingz...particularly d-Ro(my bro!), Franco, Franz and Sakura...You Got All My Luv!
Therefore, given such a feedback, I decided to publish a set of tribal masks and other mixed media works.
This stuff is partly unpublished and in part have already been published on a previous website called VISIONI (i.e. visions)back in the year 1997-98.
Back in the days of old...it was a hard time to me, I was fighting to understand My-Self,facing my dark sides, diving into my subconscious and trying to figure out my future plans.
Since I was a kid, I have been painting, sketching then came Shodo sessions but...anyway, to me these were disciplines and tools to discover My-Self, follow my intuition and learn how to silence my mind.
Artworks were the first steps into a longer journey which is still going on every single second of my life....cauz' I can't give up and I don't stop!

I am in my countryhouse near Todi, in the Green Heart of Italy, namely Umbria.

This is a cluster of houses from the 1500 century. The Energy of this Place is amazing.

A creative explosion is taking place inside/outside myself. From painting to muzik
I am facing new challenges and experience new approaches. Insights are coming. Everything is flowing.Mind-blowing experiences are the everyday reality in here.

Out-of-body experiences, Shamanic journeys and past-life regressions are taking place
within the sacred circle of this place.

Come here: you'll be protected and facilitated through your personal growth process.

Take Your Time

Take your time. Yes.Indeed.This is the right time to immerse deep into My-Self and discover and develop new dimensions. I am not in a hurry...finally!

I can further develop My-Self as a visionary creator of new realities.

The Energy of the place is helping me to go on and on for eva eva eva.

Kanken_The Gate (Transformation)

Hey y'all! How you doing? Finally I am back!
Back from US, and back from my MA...I am finally R&R (Rest & Recreation) in my
countryhouse in the green heart of Italy. I am working in the garden and sketching/drawing and playing tabla in front of the fireplace.
During one of my Shodo (aka The Way of Calligraphy)sessions, this kanji arose:it is pronounced Kanken and it means "gate, change, transformation, shift, evolution".
I am changing my life again and again for "the only constant is change"!
