Framing a Vision
I think the key to success in life is about the willpower to persistently and consistently frame one's vision.
Make it happen. Everyday.
Caption:this is my latest LandArt installation, it is called Shakkei.
Shakkei is one of the ancient principles of the Japanese Art of Gardening.
It may be translated into English with the term "borrowed scenery".
Japan was a life-changing experience to me.
Hence, Japanese civilization keeps on inspiring me.
Nature inspires me and teaches me.Continuously.
My personal vision is that Nature is a Divine Work of Art. How about yours?

Hate It Or Love It, I Do My Thing. And Pretty Loud.

Whazzup everybody?
I am chilling here in San Venanzo. Working pretty hard and I just produced a new song - originally composed to celebrate my friend Nyasha's graduation - which, right now is in the international charts at http://www.garageband.com/artist/saiselecta
You know, sometimes it is so hard to get feedback from people around you. Now I got honest reviews from professional musicians. Definitely.
Hence, I can better understand my strong/weak points and improve...inna "ready, steady, evolve and solve" style.
So, once again, a new chance/challenge. A new playground. It's been several years since I realized the main pattern of my life:
"I am coming from far away, I am going far away".
And I chose to follow My Path. Some people find it irritating, some people support me.But, you know,
Hate it or Love it, I Do My Thing. And Pretty Loud.
Future is moving from 'Here' to 'There'.
On a Fast Track.
Evolution. Paradigm Shift.
Ready, Steady, Evolve and Solve.
I Guess 'There'is Where I Wanna Go.
and Show & Prove My Voice, My Choice, What I am, Understand?
If you like my music, please jump to http://www.ilike.com/artist/emerging/saiselecta
and click on the iLike this artist orange button to the right.
You can download my tracks directly into you iTunes!
Lotta Luv,

Taxus Baccata: Mission Accomplished!
Ciao a tutti!
Special Thanx to Special friends: Alessandra, Laura, Manuela & Silvia!
Hi everybody!
I am finally enjoying country-Life and now I got a brand new tree, see?
Long life to this wonderful Taxus B.!

Ready, Steady, Evolve!
Hi everybody,
right now I am almost at the very end of my corporate experience in Rome: a dense and deep full immersion in corporate dynamics and culture.
I wanna thank everybody that I met along my journey, and Thank All for all the teachings and take-aways I come out with. Grazie.
Now, it is time to move and evolve to new challenges and consciousness.
Now it is time to set new goals and plan brand new Ventures.
Every end is a beginning, noh?
In the meantime, I am gonna take a break...
See You Real Soon!
P.S. Special thanks to my friend Ciccio!
Ciao a Tutti,
Ogni fine è un inizio, no?
Nel frattempo, mi prendo una bella vacanza...
A Presto!

E=mc^2
everything that matter is energy.
Lately, I am posting hyper-short reflections, insights in a minimal form. I've always been fascinated by haiku as a tool to express My-Self and share it with others.
My haikus are not codified in the traditional 5-7-5 form, sometimes they are. How about yours?
Sometimes form is meaning.Sometimes meaning is form.
Ultimamente sto postando brevi intuizioni, poesie in forma minimale.

Tribal Reality: Manaia Mask

Marco Spada (1998. Manaia Mask. Mixed-media.
Drawing on the ancient Maori tradition, a Manaia Mask is a mask containing the Mana, i.e. the Power and the charisma of an individual. This is my personal interpretation.
This is my Manaia Mask.

Tribal Reality: Lingua/occhi

Marco Spada (1998).Lingua/occhi. Mixed-media.
Neo-Tribalism. Techno-Tribalism. Shamanism.
Creating new realities, far from the "human" ones: the masked man as Man/Spirit, Man/Animal and Man/God. Masks as the Transfigurative Power of the Individual.
Definitely, masks as a way to create new relationships. Masks as the need to be a part of all the Forces that move our world. What do you think about it?

He's Back! Guess Who's Back?

Buonasera a tutti! Goodevening folks!
Now I am in Ferrara...I am a lucky guest at Franco and Katia's wonderful house. They are real friends and I love'em all!
I am hanging out with my IUPUI friends Nyasha, Megan and Jasmin...and with my Bologna friends Adriano, Silvia, Luca and Isabella...and tomorrow with the supa-cool duo Davide and Chiara...and naturally, thanks to Facebook and Skype with my I-Hauz brother and sisters.
First of all, I would like to thank all my friends for the positive feedback about my paintingz...particularly d-Ro(my bro!), Franco, Franz and Sakura...You Got All My Luv!
Therefore, given such a feedback, I decided to publish a set of tribal masks and other mixed media works.
This stuff is partly unpublished and in part have already been published on a previous website called VISIONI (i.e. visions)back in the year 1997-98.
Back in the days of old...it was a hard time to me, I was fighting to understand My-Self,facing my dark sides, diving into my subconscious and trying to figure out my future plans.
Since I was a kid, I have been painting, sketching then came Shodo sessions but...anyway, to me these were disciplines and tools to discover My-Self, follow my intuition and learn how to silence my mind.
Artworks were the first steps into a longer journey which is still going on every single second of my life....cauz' I can't give up and I don't stop!

Kanken_The Gate (Transformation)

Hey y'all! How you doing? Finally I am back!
Back from US, and back from my MA...I am finally R&R (Rest & Recreation) in my
countryhouse in the green heart of Italy. I am working in the garden and sketching/drawing and playing tabla in front of the fireplace.
During one of my Shodo (aka The Way of Calligraphy)sessions, this kanji arose:it is pronounced Kanken and it means "gate, change, transformation, shift, evolution".
I am changing my life again and again for "the only constant is change"!
See you soon on this blog or anywhere in the cyberspace or the 3D world.
Love y'all!
Marco.
